Therapeutic and pharmacological effects:
Fatigue, weakness, and hair loss can also result from iron deficiency. Iron is a mineral essential for growth and development. The body uses iron to produce hemoglobin and myoglobin. Additionally, iron is required for the production of certain hormones. The most common cause of anemia is iron deficiency. Long-term iron deficiency can lead to health problems such as anemia.
Liposomes are a type of drug delivery system in which the active pharmaceutical ingredient is encapsulated in extremely small lipid particles to form a liposomal molecule. This form of drug is more easily absorbed by the body and delivers a higher concentration of the active ingredient to the targeted area.
Due to the lack of direct contact between encapsulated iron molecules and the gastrointestinal tract, as well as other internal surfaces such as gums, teeth, and food, liposomal iron avoids common side effects of iron supplements. These include a metallic taste, gastrointestinal issues like constipation and abdominal pain, staining of gums and teeth, and interactions with other medications or foods like dairy products and milk.
Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin. It serves as a cofactor for key enzymes in the body and is essential for the proper development and function of the central nervous system, the formation of healthy red blood cells, the synthesis of DNA, and the prevention of megaloblastic anemia.
Side effects:
Common gastrointestinal side effects of iron include abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. In this formulation, the encapsulation of iron ions within the liposomal structure prevents direct exposure of iron ions to the internal surfaces of the body, significantly reducing these side effects.
Drug interactions:
Unlike other iron products, due to its liposomal nature, this product will not interfere with drugs such as antacids, H2 inhibitors, and proton pump inhibitors, and it is not necessary to observe a time interval of at least 2 hours.
Liposomal iron has less interaction with food and can be taken with dairy products.
Warnings and precautions:
People with normal iron levels should not use iron supplements permanently.
If suffering from hemosiderosis, hemochromatosis, thalassemia, hemisideroblastic anemia and hemolytic anemia, use with caution and consult a doctor.
Contraindications:
If you have a history of allergy to the ingredients used in this product, avoid using it.
Storage conditions:
Store at a temperature below 25°C, away from light, moisture, freezing, and out of reach of children.
