ASU (Avocado Soybean Unsaponifiable) prevents cartilage degradation by inhibiting matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) enzymes, which are responsible for protein breakdown, and stimulates collagen production, a key protein in joint structure. Additionally, it reduces joint inflammation by inhibiting the production of inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandin E2, leading to decreased pain and improved mobility.

Due to its sustained but gradual efficacy, ASU can be considered a symptom-relieving agent for osteoarthritis (OA) with long-lasting benefits.

Side effects:

The most frequent side effects of this product are gastrointestinal issues, including nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, bloating, and abdominal pain. However, it is generally well-tolerated.
