Therapeutic and pharmacological effects:

Simethicone prevents gas formation in gastrointestinal tract by reducing the surface tension of gas bubbles. Also, it alleviates bloating and discomfort caused by excess digestive gas.

Fennel extract relieves various digestive issues, including indigestion, bloating, and infant colic effectively. Similarly, dill extract is beneficial for relieving gastrointestinal problems, such as spasms and bloating.

The peppermint oil in Colief^® makes the product more pleasant for infants and children. It does not cause any allergic reactions or pharmacological effects due to its very small amount in formulation.

Side effects:

This medication generally has no side effects; however, in rare cases, allergic reactions (particularly related to fennel) may occur.

Drug interactions:

Warnings and precautions:

Theoretically, fennel may cause allergies in individuals sensitive to carrots and celery. The mint in this product serves solely as a flavoring agent, without any pharmacological effects, and does not exacerbate reflux.
